My Quick Fertility Snack Ideas

What to eat ‘For Fertility’ is a question I get asked almost daily. Lots of women feeling confused around what is good for them and what to eat to increase their health to start a family.

In a world of protein bars, smoothies with protein powders and high sugar quick energy snacks… eat real simple wholesome food.

Protein bars are often full of sugar and crap to be honest. You are much better off having a boiled egg. Protein bars are just well marketed and not great for you.

Ancestral Nutrition teaches us what our ancestors ate, they had access to simple uncomplicated foods, they didn’t have much choice, which was actually a blessing. Today too much choice and too much stimulation and confusion.

Our Ancestors didn’t have half the diseases and conditions we have today and no access to foods full of synthetic ingredients and preservatives… and they certainly didn’t eat protein bars.

HERE ARE MY TOP CHOICES FOR A QUICK HEALTHY SNACK TO SUPPORT YOUR FERTILITY…

  1. Liver Patē on sourdough bread/toast with plenty of butter (raw butter if possible) Liver is full of minerals to support the fertile essence!

  2. Boiled eggs (pasture raised farm bought eggs ideally) Boil some eggs and keep in the fridge for up to 7 days for a quick protein snack

  3. Dolmades Vine leaves (Full of herbs, rice and vine) a great quick snack that you can keep in your bag

  4. Full Fat Greek Yoghurt - high protein and high fat needed to make a baby

  5. Grass fed dried beff sticks/strips aka ‘Biltong’ ‘Jerky’ ‘Droewors’ - it has many names. Easy on the go snack that is natural and high in protein.

  6. Olives in olive oil
