The most wonderful and depleting time of your life.
This is the time to replenish with good foods and especially herbs.
The best foods for postpartum are building foods:
Pasture grazed eggs, wild fish, grass fed meats, coconut, blueberries, wild raw honey, ghee, raw butter, raw milk, maple syrup, cacao, organ meats, collagen-rich bone broths, stews, casseroles, slow cooked meats,
The best herbs for postpartum are adaptogens.
If you are breastfeeding you will need to be cautious of the herbs you take.
Shatavari is safe for babies too.

Shatavari is my all time favourite herb for postpartum.
She supports the nervous system, supports the adrenals & HPA axis thus regulating stress, encourages milk supply and settles the gut.
I took Shatavari all throughout my pregnancy and into postpartum and feel it benefitted me in so many ways.
